S02:E01 Extra - The Deserters

The family I work for, the Bobollecs, have discovered that their eldest child, a Knight of the Purple Dragons, has been picked up on the Sembian border, attempting passage. The Crown has labeled him a deserter and brought him back to Suzail for questioning. It seems out of character for him, so what would cause him to do this?
